| | Rationale The Philippine sea, mountains and indigenous communities are integral part of in any strategy for bio-diversity conservation. This continues to deteriorate due to lack of public awareness and by reason of economic greediness. Exposures like Eco-tours and N.A. Camps are initiated to effectively educate people on the protection and conservation of the beauty of God's creation. History
1971, a summer conservation camp was organized by Mr. Jesus Alvarez of Parks & Wildlife in Mt. Apo, Davao through the inspiration of Gen. Charles Lindberg, aviation hero turned environmentalist.Encouraged by it's success, a 2nd camp was held in Mt. Mayon, Bicol. However, due to budgetary constraints, future camps were discontinued.
1992, two participants from the 1971 S.C. camp, Mr. Manuel & Nelson Petines carried on the mission on their drive for continued ecological preservation by establishing Conservation for Tomorrow Fnd. Inc. (C.F.T.F.I.). It raised its initial funding thru the support of Miriam PEACE. Since then, the organization continued it's mission by way of participation of teachers, student leaders & young professionals. February 1998, Nature Awareness & Conservation Club, Inc. was organized for the young professionals to carry the same environmental endeavor.(S.E.C. Reg. No. A200006719)

Biak na bato and Mt. Manalmon
Tree planting, caving, climb, monkey bridge challenge and river crossing
"Another fun and educational experience was the hike to Biak-na-bato and Mt. Manalmon in San Miguel Bulacan. I feel sorry, I fell asleep so early. I missed the most interesting part of education at the campsite of Mt. Manalmon. I'm looking forward to climb more mountains in the future with this funny and responsible group. See the joy in the smiles of the group?"-Raymond C. Alvarado
