My first mountain climbing is on Mt. Makiling care of Philippine National Red Cross was to test our survival abilities, no sleeping bag, no tent, no burner, overnight.  Funny the mountain made the climb enchanting more than a training. So I prayed during sunrise attending to nature’s call at the peak, “Lord, I want to see some more of your creations”, and He granted.

WHY CARE?

Actually, the first three years in my climbing activities, I don’t care about the environment. On my forth year I noticed Mt. Makiling is getting uglier, dirtier, drier, less flora and fauna. I prayed, “Lord, let’s do something about the environment”. And I was hired in Conserving For Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. After four year, I started Nature Awareness and Conservation Club, Inc. (1998)

WHY SHARE? Why not? God is giving me more blessing than I asked for  Good friends, new places, memorable and meaningful experiences.

IS MAKILING BETTER NOW?

Yes, I just don’t know for how long.

IS THE SOCIETY MORE AWARE NOW?

Yes , but so busy working, samaha pa ng mga hang- up.

ANYWAY

LIFE IS SO FUN, BLESSED AND WONDERFUL AND YET SO SHORT TO WORRY SO MUCH. I pray “Lord, I’m happy to be your transparent glass, to move on and see some more”.
